Personal Statement:I am a practicing contemporary artist (MA) based in Bristol who is interested in both working as an artist in residence as well as being experienced in offering Art workshops.

I am particularly interested in offering Animation Workshops. These can relate to specific areas of the curriculum if needed, such as Art,English Greek mythology, History or PSHE. I have worked with all age groups from primary to post 16, I use stop frame animation and the models can be in 2D or 3D. Animation is a wonderful creative tool and the students develop their ICT, groupwork , literacy and creative thinking as well as many other skills.

I am also training in counselling and I am interested in working with students who are experiencing difficulty in their lives. Art and Animation can be extremely rewarding and therapeutic

I am also interested in delivering workshops in Contemporary Art practice. This can be in any 2D or 3D media. I can tailor make the project to suit the individuals.

I have experience of teaching Art courses as well as workshops and recently ran an Art course for year 4’s at a Bristol primary school for a term. This was to enable the pupils to explore their own creativity whilst learning new skills.
